- Find a friend or partner to help keep you motivated. You don't want the person you're working with to drop out and lose motivation, so try not to be that person either.
- Keep things interesting by switching up workouts frequently enough so it becomes a challenge every time you go in for your exercise session. This will not only help you move past a plateau, but it will also prevent boredom from setting in.
- Don't discount your own ability to have fun during exercise! You are capable of doing much more than just going through motions on an elliptical machine or treadmill each day.
